Reneé S. Frazier, MHSA, LFACHE
CEO Emeritus

Reneé S. Frazier is an experienced leader in the health care management arena with expertise in hospital operations, managed care, volunteer and community service, health promotion, strategic planning and organizational excellence. She is known for her advocacy toward greater transparency of health care quality indicators and patient experience report cards. She is also a strong leader in the Memphis Shelby County community addressing issues of Health Policy, Environmental Barriers, Health Equity and Community Engagement that will lead our region to better health. 

Prior to joining Common Table Health Alliance, formerly Healthy Memphis Common Table, in January 2009, Frazier served as the regional senior vice president and executive officer of VHA Pennsylvania, the Pittsburgh division of VHA Inc., a national hospital alliance of more than 2,200 health care organizations across the U.S. She has also served as a vice president of BlueCross BlueShield of Maryland, chief operating officer for Liberty Medical Center and Lutheran Health Care Corporation in Baltimore, and a strategic consultant for Community Health Centers in Maryland.

Frazier has written a number of health care-related articles and conducted workshops on a variety of health, leadership and lifestyle topics. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in business and sociology from the University of Maryland and a master's degree in health services administration from George Washington University. As of May 2016, Frazier changed her role as CTHA's first Chief Executive Officer to CEO Emeritus to assist in fundraising and serve as co-principle investigator on the Memphis Breast Cancer Coalition initiative while the organization conducts a search for its next leader.
