Community Impact Alliance

CTHA leads the charge as both a neutral convener and a leader of efforts that advance community health and well-being and act as a consistent voice in addressing equity in health.

The Greater Memphis area has significant disparity in diabetes, hypertension and obesity, and CTHA has been extremely effective in tackling complex issues associated with barriers to better population health. Systemic health inequities have significant social and economic costs to both individuals and communities, including access to primary care, health illiteracy, and prevalence of chronic disease in various Mid-south zip codes. We implement our work through collaboration with and convening of other mission-driven organizations who serve priority populations.

Beginning in June 2016, CTHA strategically aligned its Community Impact Alliance (CIA) to: 1) Work in partnership on specific programming that benefits underserved and underrepresented communities, 2) Improve health equity by working together to increase quality in population health, and 3) Serve as an advisory committee to CTHA.

The members of the CIA are listed below. If your organization would like to be included in the CIA, please contact Dr. Barry-Lewis Harris, II, Chief Executive Officer, at drharris@commontablehealth.org.
