Common Table Health Alliance and members of the Memphis Breast Cancer Consortium were featured on the WREG Channel 3 news broadcast on Friday, October 7, 2016. The segment focused on the recent AVON Foundation study, whose findings determined that among 50 states, the racial mortality gap was worse in Memphis. Additionally, the segment illustrated the disparity gap between African-American women and Caucasian women and discussed reasons why African-American women were twice as likely to die from breast cancer.
